The Artistry Session
~Capturing the MAGIC of Childhood~
This year, we will be creating magical scenery and breathtaking portraits that capture the essence of childhood! Our brand new Artistry Sessions are custom sets – designed only for each particular session and will not be replicated. We will have a variety of props to choose from for each theme, and sometimes even outfits for your little ones to wear and there will be some extra finishing touches done to the final portrait to make them truly magical! (While we aren’t able to provide outfits in every size for both genders during each session, we will certainly give suggestions for what your child should wear if we do not have his or her size.) We will post example images about a month before each of our Artistry Sessions so that you know what to expect, but have a few examples here to give you a little taste of what is to come - these are described in (general) order for the year!
Woodland Fairy Tale: These sessions will bring out the Prince or Princess in your little one! We have dresses, crowns, swords, toadstools and even a frog to kiss – and you might spy some magical creatures like unicorns along the way!
Starlight, Starbright: Reach for the stars – gold stars! These precious portraits will highlight the sweet side of your child as they are surrounded by gold stars to wish upon.
Vintage Garden: Our version of an Easter themed session, these will have beautiful vintage touches throughout the set. Imagine soft colors, flowers, crates, birdcages and your child dressed in his or her finest!
50’s Lemonade Stand or Superheroes – These lighthearted styled setups will be so much fun! Both boys and girls can participate in either – or do a few pictures with BOTH sets! (We have capes and masks, of course!)
Swingin’ into Summer – Ever want to capture your child’s biggest grin? Swinging always seems to do just that! We will have both a tire swing for our daredevils AND a flower-covered plank swing for our sweet, shy ones – so you’re sure to have the perfect portrait of childhood!
Americana – Think watermelon & good old fashioned patriotic gear! This classic design will feature vintage Americana at it’s best – with flag-inspired elements as the cornerstone!
By the Seashore – A creative twist on the typical beach portrait! Your little one can watch for pirate ships, sail away in a little dinghy, or frolic in the surf! Guaranteed to be a favorite for years to come!
Bubble Bath – For babies and toddlers, an adorable washtub bath - or for our older set, bathing suits in our amazing claw-foot tub filled with bubbles. You’ll never have the opportunity to get these types of images again!
Vintage Circus – Come one, Come all! Under the big top we will go – and you won’t believe the amazing creations that you’ll see!
Forest Fantasy – With the most perfect backdrop of fall leaves, a magical forest will emerge! If you love fall colors, this session will be a favorite. We may see fairies or magical creatures or we may simply get lost in the fantastical forest!
The Night Before Christmas – Oh what a magical time! Waiting for Santa, reading holiday stories, watching for the reindeer….so many adorable moments to recreate in our warm studio!
Two Ways to Book!
You can choose to book an individual Artistry Session with 5 digital portraits for $295, or purchase a membership to our Artistry Portrait Club for $199/mo and come to them all! Becoming a member of the portrait club has major perks – not only do you get to come to any (or all!) of the monthly Artistry Sessions with a different theme/set for each one, but you’ll receive 10 digital portraits from each PLUS some bonus Artistry Sessions that will only be available to Portrait Club members!
