Meet Our Team

Meet Amanda

Amanda opened Kimberlin Gray Photography in 2009 and specializes in maternity, birth, and newborn portraits. Her posed newborn sessions, held in the KGP studio, have been loved by hundreds of Hampton Roads families over the past 8 years. Amanda has been featured in The Huffington Post, Baby Center, BuzzFeed and published in print editions of Posh Tots and Midwifery Today.  She has also won numerous contests and awards, most notably an Honorable Mention in the 2012 IAPBP (International Association of Professional Birth Photographers) annual contest & one of the Top 100 images in the world during the 2018 Shoot & Share Contest for the "Emotion & Excitement" category! She has also been asked to speak at the 2015 and 2017 Off-Call Conference for Birth Photographers and the 2018 Birthbound Online Photographer Retreat. As a former elementary school teacher and mother of two herself, she has always had a wonderful rapport with babies and children of all ages, which helps her to capture true smiles and incredibly natural portraits.

"My goal for each and every client who chooses Kimberlin Gray Photography is to provide them with timeless images of moments that cannot be replaced, but will be cherished for generations.  It is increasingly important in this digital age to PRINT what we want to preserve, so our studio is focused on offering high quality products and amazing portraiture. Offering printed products and specialty items to preserve these special memories has become my calling and sets our studio apart from others."

Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth specializes in boudoir, family, and tween/senior photography.  As a military spouse with a 3 year old son, she has a special place in her heart for homecoming sessions!  Elizabeth loves children and capturing real moments between parents and their kids. These are the moments we will cherish for years to come. Her style is fun, bright, and relaxed - so you are sure to have a good time while she creates those stunning images!

"Having someone trust me enough to photograph them, especially during boudoir sessions, is something I do not take lightly.  It is very important to me that my clients feel at ease and comfortable no matter the pose or situation. I take pride in being able to make every woman look her best and feel amazing!"
